Commercial Properties

National Real Estate has always been the biggest commercial property sales office in the Free State and Northern Cape and has sold some of the biggest properties in the property history of Bloemfontein. Ronnie Storkey is a well known figure in Bloemfontein and has over 35 years experience. Charl Marias has been with the company for over 20 years and has a loyal client base. 3. Water and Electricity

The current situation at the Bloemfontein and other municipalities, whereby the management of water and electricity creates a constant problem for the property owner, has resulted in a growing demand for the professional management of water and electricity. Our Energy Management Department has many years of experience with water and electricity management and are currently managing the water and electricity of about 6,500 households and 260 sectional title properties and full title complexes.

Mangaung Local Municipality Accounts

The head of the Energy Management Department worked 15 years for the Mangaung Local Municipality and has intimate knowledge of the internal procedures and the various departments such as water & electricity, rates & sanitation, etc. We can reconcile your Mangaung accounts, resolve your account enquiries and acts as a “watchdog” by means of managing and monitoring these accounts on your behalf.

Prepaid Electricity

Type of Meters - Actaris single phase meter – cost R700 + VAT. The installation cost depends on the electrician and usually ranges around R300 per meter. System Electricity can be purchased at any “Easy Pay” pay point; these include Pick & Pay, Spar, Checkers, Total, Caltex, Lewis Stores, OK and many more. The consumer is also able to make purchases via the internet by registering on www.ipay.co.za or via cell phone banking.

MLM Accounts - The funds from the purchases made by the client moves from Easy Pay and I Pay via our service provider, Actaris, back to us. We then administrate the Centlec account. Alternatively some clients prefer to administer the accounts themselves and the incoming funds are therefore transferred to the owners account.

Reporting - We can provide you with a monthly report on all purchases made on the meters, which gives an accurate view of the purchase patterns of the residents.

NRE as Role Player - National Real Estate is registered with ESKOM as a service provider and therefore has its own SGC (Supply Group Code). This means that upon the manufacturing of the prepaid meters, the meters are programmed with NRE’s SGC. Our service provider has a contract with Easy Pay and I Pay, which means our clients can make purchases anywhere in the country. We are in the position to provide property owners, developers and residents with unequalled service in Bloemfontein and central South Africa as a whole.

4. Program Management

The computer system currently in use at National Real Estate is a national programme specifically aimed at financial management. The programme (Propsys) was procured in 2004 at a cost of R450,000 and is "Windows based" which simplifies the integration of general processing programmes. Since the programme is aimed at simplifying accounting and data processing, it enables National Real Estate to immediately provide updated information. Propsys is updated monthly to keep in pace with new developments. Bank balances, arrear levies, income and expenditure can, with the press of a button, be immediately provided. Income and expenditure statements, expenditure summaries, ledger statements, individual accounts, historical records and actual to budget statements can be provided up to date. Record keeping of owner’s accounts, unit specifications (quota’s, sizes etc),scheme particulars and plans is a click of a mouse away. The system is e-mail appointed which facilitate and expedite the rendering of monthly accounts.

5. Project Developments – Housing and Commercial Properties

National Real Estate is currently involved in the Kopana project regarding social housing in the Brandwag area. Not only are we involved in upgrading the structure and financial management but also in the planning of adding additional properties to the structure.

6. Sectional Title Property Management

Our team has more than 32 years experience in the professional management and administration of sectional title schemes. We manage portfolios of more than 6,000 properties in more than 260 schemes. This is the largest sectional title scheme portfolio in the Free State and Northern Cape and serves as a confirmation and a clear indication of the quality of service we render when it comes to sectional title property management.
